According to Isna, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced today (Tuesday) in an announcement that it has thwarted a Ukrainian-British plot aimed at hijacking a MiG-31 jet equipped with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
Russia’s Federal Security Service further noted that the hijacked jet was supposed to fly to a NATO airbase in the Romanian city of Constanta, where it could have been shot down by air defenses, according to the RIA Novosti News agency.
