The Syrian army post in al-Bukamal was attacked – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, citing Al-Sumaria News, news sources announced that 3 Syrian soldiers were injured in an attack by unknown armed men on a Syrian army post in the city of Al-Bukamal near the Syrian-Iraq border.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that unknown assailants threw a grenade into the outpost of the 86th Division of the Syrian Army in the city of Al-Bukamal.

This source added that when the army forces left the checkpoint to chase the attackers, a bomb mounted on a motorcycle exploded on their way, injuring three army forces.

Syrian sources announced that the identity of the perpetrators of the attack has not been determined.
