According to Mehr news agency, American Energy Secretary Christopher Allen Wright said in a conversation with Fox News: Despite the president’s order to resume nuclear tests, his country currently has no plans for nuclear explosions.

He added: The tests in question are system tests, not nuclear explosions.

The Secretary of Energy said that the purpose of these tests is to develop alternative nuclear weapons, and Trump is concerned that our country remains the strongest militarily.

Last Thursday, Donald Trump ordered the US military to immediately resume nuclear weapons testing after a 33-year hiatus.
