According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Mayadin, thousands of extremist settlers known as “Haredis” demonstrated on Thursday in the occupied cities of Tel Aviv and Quds in protest against military service in the army.
According to Hebrew media reports, in this demonstration, the number of participants of which was estimated to be 200,000 people in the occupied Jerusalem, Haredis clashed with the Zionist police, during which one person who threw himself down from a multi-story building was killed.
During these clashes, an Israeli police officer was injured and taken to the hospital after the Haredi protesters threw stones. The police and security forces used cavalry units to disperse the demonstrators.
This demonstration is being held in the midst of the efforts of the Zionist regime’s cabinet to find a legal and political solution with the aim of ending the decades-long practice of granting exemption from military service to the Haredim, and this issue has become a crisis for this regime.
