According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey announced that Pakistan and Afghanistan reached an agreement on the continuation of the ceasefire in their negotiations in Istanbul.
The spokesperson of the Afghan government said that the negotiations in Istanbul were difficult but fruitful and it was agreed that the meetings would continue.
Informed sources announced on Thursday that Afghanistan and Pakistan will resume peace talks in Istanbul. This is despite the fact that yesterday Islamabad announced the failure of these talks.
Islamabad has accused the caretaker government of Afghanistan (Taliban) of harboring the terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, and Kabul has denied this accusation.
