According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al-Masirah, Muhammad Abd al-Salam, the head of Yemen’s Ansarullah negotiating team, announced on Wednesday that he met with the UN special envoy and discussed the progress of the peace process based on the road map that was previously presented with the mediation of Oman and in agreement with Saudi Arabia.
He said: The necessity of resuming the implementation of the provisions of the road map, especially the clauses related to human rights, was emphasized and we were reminded that there is no reason to continue delaying its implementation.
The head of the Yemeni Ansarullah Negotiating Board also added that in this meeting he emphasized the futility of the unjustified arrests of the employees of organizations active in Yemen and reminded that the information of the security parties in Sana’a about the subversive actions of some of the detainees was submitted to the United Nations.
Abdul Salam stated: The relevant institutions are ready to provide documents that show that some of these people have spied under the guise of humanitarian activities.
In the end, he emphasized the commitment of Yemen’s Ansarullah to finding just solutions, continuing coordination with international organizations and ensuring the legal and safe activities of organizations within the framework of their humanitarian duties.
