According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met and discussed with British Prime Minister Kerr Starmer on the eve of the meeting of the Ukrainian Supporters Coalition in London.

Starmer said in this meeting: I want to use today’s opportunity to set a clear agenda to bring Vladimir Putin to the talks.

The British Prime Minister expressed hope that the largest number of countries will take decisions to limit the financing of the Russian war machine.

He continued that the coalition should agree on freezing Russian assets and handing over these funds to Ukraine.

Pointing out that “the coalition is determined to stay with Ukraine so that negotiations can begin in good conditions”, Starmer expressed his satisfaction with the acceleration of British plans to supply missiles to Ukraine and said: “We must intensify the military pressure on Russia.”

In this meeting, the British Prime Minister emphasized that the coalition should continue its efforts to remove Russian oil and gas from the world markets. The coalition is determined to stay with Ukraine to start negotiations from a position of strength.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said during the meeting: “The coalition is able to protect Ukraine’s energy sector by supplying gas and necessary equipment.”

Zelenskiy, who is still seeking to strengthen his missile fleet despite American objections, said that there are a number of Patriot systems in Europe ready and we can use them immediately to “protect the lives of people in Ukraine.”

He said that the European Union should sanction all Russian energy companies and prevent them from entering the market in order to put more pressure on Putin.

Zelensky said: We must pressure Russia to negotiate seriously, and I am ready for any negotiation.

Ukraine’s prime minister, still upset by Donald Trump’s refusal to provide Tom Hawk missiles, said Tom Hawk missiles and advanced weapons were the best pressure on Putin, as he abandoned diplomacy as soon as talks broke down.
