Norway’s deputy foreign minister: Israel should send aid to Gaza – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, Norwegian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Kravik emphasized in a conversation with Al Jazeera news channel that the Zionist regime should bring aid to Gaza.
Pointing out that Israel has a legal responsibility to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, he stated that the decision of the International Court of Justice emphasized that its role is irreplaceable.
“We need new hospitals and more aid workers in the Gaza Strip,” Kravik said. We also need resources from regional countries to provide health care to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Pointing out that the Israeli regime has systematically targeted hospitals and health care workers, this Norwegian diplomat clarified: We do not have enough time to help all the residents of the Gaza Strip and we must act as soon as possible.
He continued that there is an urgent need for the entry of trucks and machines to remove the debris in the Gaza Strip. What is necessary now is the pressure of the international community to provide aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Krawik noted that the international community should assume its responsibilities to provide aid to Gaza and confront Israeli repressions in the West Bank, because no country can punish civilians under the pretext of targeting military targets.
