This demonstration was held at the invitation of some farmers and peasants and natives of this province.
The protests were held after CONAI president Marlon Fargas decided to end the protests without consultation.
The protesters strongly opposed this decision of the indigenous nationalities of Ecuador known as Kunai.
Meanwhile, Marlon Fargas previously announced the end of the strikes after 31 days of demonstrations that killed at least three people and injured dozens of others.
