An important ISIS leader was trapped in the east of Aleppo – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Shafaq News, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the arrest of one of the ISIS leaders in a security operation in the eastern outskirts of Aleppo.

SDF announced that this operation was carried out yesterday in a residential area in the east of Aleppo city, during which Ahmed Khalaf al-Hussein, one of the most important leaders of ISIS in the region, was arrested.

QSD also stated that this operation was carried out after monitoring and tracking detailed information on terrorist movements, and the Syrian Democratic Forces were able to attack his hideout and arrest this terrorist.

In the end, the SDF emphasized that it will continue to pursue the remaining elements of the ISIS terrorist group in order to maintain the security and stability of the region and protect the lives of citizens.
