The helicopter of the President of India got stuck on wet concrete + Video – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing “NDTV”, a part of the newly concreted helipad in Pradam, Kerala, located in India, collapsed after the landing of the helicopter carrying Draupadi Murmu, the President of the country, during his visit to the Sabarimala temple on Wednesday.
Several police and fire personnel were seen pushing the wheels of an Indian Air Force Mi-17 helicopter through the pits of the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium after the Indian President left for Pamba by road.
The landing was initially planned at Nilakal near Pamba but was changed to Pramadam due to bad weather.
A police officer said: “The concrete was not fully hardened and therefore could not support the weight of the helicopter when it landed, and there were dents where the wheels came into contact with the ground.” This caused the helicopter to get stuck in this place.
