He added that the Hamas movement hopes to increase the amount of humanitarian aid to Gaza in order to meet the needs of the people of this region.

This Hamas official also stated: What we have heard from the mediating countries and the American president assures us that the war in Gaza is over.

He continued: But the second part is a national and comprehensive issue that no movement can decide on alone, and it requires national consensus and the participation of all Palestinian groups, especially considering that it includes issues with strategic dimensions.

Abu Marzouq emphasized: “We are ready for any future negotiations and we have not presented predetermined positions, but the decisive element in every round of future negotiations is the real will of the Israeli regime to commit to agreements and the complete end of the war on the part of this regime so that the Palestinian people can achieve their legitimate rights, which is to achieve a dignified life in their land and the formation of an independent Palestinian state.”
