Martyrdom of an elderly Palestinian captive – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, citing Shahab News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners and Freedmen Affairs Committee announced the complete martyrdom of Muhammad Al-Ajrami, an elderly prisoner of the Gaza Strip in the prisons of the Zionist regime.
This Palestinian organization announced that this 69-year-old Palestinian prisoner, who was a resident of the Gaza Strip, was martyred on October 10, 2025 in the Israeli hospital of Soroka. He was in captivity in the Negev prison before being transferred to the hospital.
Since his arrest, he had been subjected to difficult conditions and was exposed to the policy of deliberate starvation, deprivation of treatment and medical services, which ultimately led to his martyrdom.
This institution stated: Al-Ajrami’s martyrdom is added to the series of targeted actions of the occupiers against Palestinian prisoners, which has intensified since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza. Darband prisoners are exposed to torture, starvation, medical neglect and sexual assaults in the shadow of suspicious silence and alignment of the international community with the occupiers.
It is stated in this statement: The number of martyred captives has increased to eighty people since the beginning of the Gaza genocide. There is no news about the fate of dozens of captives. The occupiers follow a policy of targeted terror by depriving prisoners of medical treatment and keeping them in poor living and humane conditions.
This organization held the occupation forces fully responsible for Al-Ajrami’s martyrdom and called for immediate and legal action by the international community to end this situation and punish the occupying leaders for committing war crimes and genocide against the Palestinians.
