The reaction of the Palestinian ambassador in Libya to the spread of a rumor – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Russia Al-Yum, the Palestinian Ambassador to Libya, Mohammad Al-Rahal, stated that the rumors published in the media and cyberspace about the existence of an intention to settle Palestinians in this country and grant them citizenship are not true.

He added: “Such rumors are spread with the purpose of sedition between the Palestinian and Libyan nations.” Palestinians living in Libya immigrated to this country and a number of countries in the region since 1948 and after the Nakbat incident, and they still live with their Palestinian identity documents.

Al-Rahal clarified: Palestinians living in Libya refuse to receive citizenship of this country and always insist on their right to return to their land.

This is not the first time that such rumors such as the transfer of residents of the Gaza Strip to other countries such as Libya have been raised.
