According to Mehr news agency, citing Fox News TV channel, American officials announced that several people were injured in the shooting incident at the Oklahoma State University (OSU) dormitory this Sunday.

The Oklahoma OSU Police Department said in a statement that officers responded to reports of a shooting at Carreker East Dormitory around 3:40 a.m.

OSU Police Chief Michael Beckner said there were multiple injuries in the incident.

All victims are being treated at hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, police said.

According to police, initial reports indicate that the shooting occurred after a large, private party at an off-campus location, and attendees left the party and returned to the dormitory, where the shooting occurred.
