Germany recalled its ambassador from Georgia – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Politico, the German Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that Peter Fischer has summoned its ambassador to Georgia for some consultations.
The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed in a post on X social media: “For months, the Georgian authorities have been taking provocative actions against the European Union, Germany, and also the German ambassador.”
The statement made the decision to recall the ambassador “to consult on how to proceed”.
Following the obvious interference of Brussels in the internal affairs of Tbilisi, Georgia stopped the process of joining the European Union.
