According to the Mehr News Agency, the New York Times wrote that the Trump administration has permitted the secret operations of the US Central Intelligence Agency in Venezuela and that the CIA could carry out deadly operations independently and in cooperation with the Army.

According to the newspaper, the US Army has prepared options for Trump, including possible attacks within Venezuela.

Trump, on Tuesday evening, posted a post on his social network Truth Sushal that he ordered US troops to attack a vessel off the coast of Venezuela, killing four people.

The US president claimed that the vessel was carrying drug trafficking.

Since September last September, the United States has attacked Venezuelan boats five times under the pretext of druging.
