A security source in Al -Anbar province said one of the leading leaders of the Ba’athist Party was caught in ambush Iraqi security forces, Mehr News Agency reported.

According to the report, Iraqi security forces were able to observe the Ba’athist leader in the northern areas of Fallujah and arrest after necessary operations.

He added that information about the activities of the Ba’athist Party in Anbar province was reported after several hours of arresting a number of its leaders.

Earlier, the Hashebi troops were able to arrest one of the prominent leaders of the Ba’athist Party in their latest security operations.
