The Saudi Foreign Ministry in a statement expressed concern about the intensification of tensions and clashes on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and urged both sides to spend restraint and refusing to intensify tensions, Mehr News Agency quoted Sputnik as saying.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry emphasized the need to adopt talks and rationality to reduce tensions and maintain security and stability in the region.
The ministry, while emphasizing its interest in maintaining stability and prosperity for the two nations of Pakistan and Afghanistan, announced that it supports all regional and international efforts aimed at boosting peace.
An hour ago, the Afghan Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the Afghan troops’ operations include attacks on places where the UAVs were thrown into Afghan territory or that the country’s airspace was violated.
According to the statement, the Afghan army bombed military stances across the borders, often used to attack civilians and weaken Afghan territorial integrity.
The Afghan Ministry of Defense added that some of the ISIL -related places were targeted inside Pakistan’s territory as the Pakistani army attacked the positions of the Pakistani military.
The ministry stressed that the Afghan military’s military operation would continue until the country’s territorial integrity violations.
