Boulevard did not attend the meeting and refused to defend themselves, an action that enabled the delegates to move the dismissal process quickly.

The Speaker will be in charge of the parliament until April next year.

In the year after the ousting of the former Pedro Castilio president, Boltar took power for trying to dissolve parliament. But his decision to remain in power and not resign on the new elections led to a wave of bloody protests that led to the killing of civilians.

In recent weeks, new allegations have been made against him, including receiving luxury watches as a bribe and abuse of government officials. These scandals, along with the economic crisis and the rise of poverty, further questioned his political legitimacy.

Political analysts believe that the right -wing and moderate parties, who previously supported Boulevard, are now trying to separate themselves from the government as they approach the elections so as not to harm public dissatisfaction.
