The New York Times wrote: It seems that the executive decree has been signed to ensure Qatar’s renovation of such attacks. The decree states that any attack on Qatar will be seen as a threat to US peace and security.

Qatar hosts the largest US military base in the Middle East and views Washington as the main guarantee of its security. This has further surprised Tel Aviv’s recent attack on Doha.
