The Yemeni army reported a missile attack on a ship in the Gulf of Aden – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
The Yemeni armed forces said they had carried out a military operation against the Minerva Gright in the Gulf of Aden, according to the Mehr News Agency.
A statement issued by Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Fast said the ship was targeted by a cruise missile because the owner had violated the decision to ban the entry into occupied Palestinian ports.
The Yemeni army emphasized that the precise attack on the ship led to a direct and fire attack and is currently exposed to drowning.
“The great Yemeni nation and Mujahideen will continue to support the oppressed Palestinian nation against the crime of the century and continue its struggle,” Fast said.
A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces warned in a message that the country’s military operations would continue and that the attacks would be stopped only if the Gaza was suspended.
He emphasized that the Israeli naval siege in the Red Sea, the Arab Sea, Bab al -Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden remains.
He quickly warned that all companies and ships were once again warned of the consequences of this siege.
The move comes after Yemen has carried out numerous attacks against ships related to Israeli regime or companies that collaborate with Tel Aviv, declaring it part of the practical support for the Gaza people.
