French President Emmanuel Macron, whose country officially recognized the Independent Palestinian state last week, said in response to Trump’s plan: “I welcome Trump’s commitment to end the war in Gaza and the freedom of all captives.”

“I expect Israel to firmly adhere to Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza,” he told Zionist leaders.

Macron also told the Hamas Resistance Group that the group had no choice but to the immediate release of all Israeli prisoners and to adhere to Trump’s plan.
