Tel Aviv’s last minute request stopped talks with Syria – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Mehr News Agency quoted MinesFour sources in a conversation with Reuters said security talks between Syria and the Zionist regime had reached a deadlock in southern Syria because of Tel Aviv’s demand to establish a so -called human crossing.
According to the report, the request was presented by the Zionist regime in the last moments, and the impasse of these talks could prevent the signing of the security agreement between Damascus and Tel Aviv.
During the talks, which had been accelerated in recent weeks, an empty area in southern Syria, including in the province of Sweda, was to ensure the security of the Zionist regime.
Syria believes that the establishment of the aforementioned crossing in the south of the country violates its sovereignty by the Zionist regime. Tel Aviv seems to be seeking to open the way for Syria to infiltrate and continue aggression against the country.
