“I had a very important conversation with Putin yesterday,” said Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

He added: “I talked to Putin about Iran’s nuclear program and referred to Russia’s key role as a member of the Brotherhood.

Grossi also said: I also talked to Putin about the status of the Zaporgia nuclear power plant. Russia’s cooperation with this agency is in almost all areas, including nuclear safety.

He added: “Meeting with the Russian CEO was aimed at discussing issues related to nuclear safety at the Zaporgia power plant in a timely manner.”
