Zelnsky’s readiness to resign from Power – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelkski claimed that if he could finish the war with Russia, he is ready to step down and not be nominated for the presidential election, Mehr News Agency quoted Reuters as saying.
Zelksky also pledged to ask the Ukrainian parliament to organize a new election if the ceasefire achieves.
“If the war ends, I’m ready to (not in the election) because it is not my goal in the election,” he said. I sincerely wanted to be with my country in a very difficult situation and help my country. This has been my constant demand. My goal is to end the war.
Zelnsky has been in power since year 2. His first presidency ended in May, but under the law of military rule, the Ukrainian parliament banned the election. As a result, his presidency was automatically renewed. Russian officials have insisted that he has no “legitimacy” given the completion of Zelnski’s presidency.
According to recent polls, Zelnski will receive the most support if the new elections are held. The findings of the August Sociological Group Research Institute of Ukraine will vote in the new elections in the new election. Citizens’ support for Valeri Zallogen, his potential rival, is estimated at 4.9 percent.
Zelnsky, a 6 -year -old, also opened the door for elections in Ukraine during the ceasefire with Russia and the lack of a permanent peace agreement, saying: “I think building security during the ceasefire can make it possible to hold elections.”
