Printing and Distribution of “Passive Defense” in Taiwan – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
The Taiwan Ministry of Defense claimed that it was not intentional to be frightened, but aimed at preparing people for possible crises, including the China attack!
The autonomous island has been increasing its defensive readiness as China’s military activities and extensive exercises around Taiwan Island in the past five years. In the new booklet published and reviewed by the Taiwan Ministry of Defense, a set of scenarios that the island may face, from natural disasters such as tsunami to full -fledged attack, is the third version of the type. The first version of this notebook was released in year 5.
At a press conference, Shayen Wei Chi, director of the Taiwan Army’s Mobilization Organization, said at a press conference that in the first phase, five thousand copies of the book will be printed and distributed and the online copy can be downloaded. Its English version is also available.
“Why are we publishing this booklet in peace?” “We do not intend to be frightened, but we want to tell people that they must be ready in time of peace because you will lose your hands and feet during the crisis.”
China considers Taiwan Island part of its soil and has not rejected the use of force to join the native land. On the other hand, Taiwan has strongly opposed the issue and claims that only the island’s people can decide on their fate.
The United States is the most important international supporter and supplier of Taiwan’s arms, but has no formal diplomatic relations with the island. China has always described Taiwan as the most important and sensitive issue in its relationships with Washington.
