“All of our ministers have been withdrawn from the cabinet meeting in protest of the government’s insistence on discussing the monopoly plan,” Mehr News Agency reported.
He stated that the withdrawal of the ministers of the Shiite parties from the government meeting means that Lebanon is facing a very dangerous political problem.
He continued that the President and Prime Minister are responsible for what happened at the Cabinet meeting.
The senior member of Hezbollah continued that the next step of the Shiites will be determined based on developments and results related to the government meeting.
Abu Zinab reiterated: “It is early to judge the Lebanese army’s position on the disarmament crisis and we will later evaluate the plan it has presented.”
A senior member of the Hezbollah Political Council noted: “We have the right to go to the street or resign from the government, and we are currently considering all appropriate options for future action.”
