Erdogan: We continue to support Iran in the field of nuclear talks – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Iranian President Massoud Mediian on the sidelines of the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tianjin, China, according to Mehr News Agency.

According to a statement issued by the Turkish Presidential Office on the meeting, the two presidents discussed Turkish -Iran relations and regional and international developments.

The two sides discussed the latest developments in Syria, Israeli attacks on Gaza and the peace process in the southern Caucasus (between Azerbaijan and Armenia).

Erdogan emphasized to the doctors that Türkiye -Iran cooperation in many areas, especially energy, serves mutual interest.

The Turkish president also emphasized the importance of promoting Iran’s nuclear talks, saying that Ankara would continue to support Tehran.
