The Chinese Foreign Minister announced the increase in Shanghai cooperation organization to nine countries, according to Mehr News Agency.

Speaking at a news conference after the Shanghai organization’s summit in Tinjian province, Wang Yi said that the summit was successful and had positive results.

He emphasized: “Global Governance Initiative” contributes to the management of global insistence and barriers to economic development. Multifunctionalism is the way to achieve global governance.

“The United Nations must play a role in reforming global governance,” the Chinese foreign minister said. We want cooperation rather than conflict and solidarity rather than division.

The Shanghai Cooperation Secretary -General also said: “The multifaceted world must be defended.” The global governance initiative that the Chinese president suggested is based on the rule of law and that member states support it.

The Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was attended by heads of state governments from August 1 to September 6.

In a joint statement, member states condemned actions that have led to humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, as well as all forms of terrorism.
