US President Donald Trump repeated his previous statements, saying that Washington would no longer spend on the Ukrainian war.

“We were spending hundreds of billions of dollars in the war,” Trump said. We are now selling equipment to NATO. I forced them to increase their defense cost from two to five percent of GDP.

He added, “We sell equipment to NATO, not to Ukraine.” Trump said July 6 that Washington has decided to supply weapons and military equipment for Kiev, provided that Europe would pay for such shipments. NATO will play a coordinator in this process.

Moscow has repeatedly emphasized that the delivery and supply of weapons for Kiev and the training of Ukrainian forces only leads to the prolongation of the war and does not change the battlefield.
