The US Central Command (Santcom) Claimed that the US military had carried out a successful attack in northern Syria on August 5, killing a senior ISIL member.

Santcom Claimed to have this senior ISIL member in the village “UnderstandHe was killed in Idlib province in northern Syria.

A US official had earlier said that US military operations had targeted and killed a senior member of the ISIL terrorist group at dawn on Wednesday, August 6, in northwestern Syria.

The US official claimed that the killer was a candidate for ISIL leadership in Syria.

The Pentagon also reported the death of a senior ISIL member and his two sons in Aleppo last month in the attack by US forces.
