According to RCO News Agency, the Lebanese al -Akhbar newspaper reviewed diplomatic traffic in Beirut after Ali Larijani’s visit to the Supreme National Security Council of Iran to Lebanon and the presence of Thomas Barack and Morgan Ortagos, US envoys in the country, and wrote that Yazid bin Farhan is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia.

The report added that Washington continued to activate pressure diplomacy on the Lebanese Front, and its representatives called on Lebanese officials to complete the necessary steps to disarm the resistance. Although the trip was apparently to encourage Lebanese officials, the American delegation was originally seeking to examine Lebanese positions, especially after Ali Larijani’s trip to Beirut.

Barack and Ortagos’s trip was not long, and they went to the occupied territories shortly after the meetings ended. Speaking to Qatari al -Arabi, Lebanese deputy prime minister Tariq Motri said that if Israel is not committed to the American document, Lebanon would not see the need to commit the document.

Second: Aoun emphasized the necessity of supporting the Lebanese army and said that the army lacks the necessary abilities and tools and could not fulfill this mission alone. He said the Lebanese army is waiting for support.

Third: Aoun called for the infrastructure needed to set up a financial and economic support project to Lebanon.

In a meeting with Barack, the Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf emphasized the need for US side responsibilities, through pressure on Israel to halt hostile actions, to retreat from occupied areas and release captives. He also emphasized the priority of supporting and strengthening the capabilities of the Lebanese armed forces financially and equipment so that they could carry out the required missions.

According to an official source, Aoun and Salam thought Hezbollah would remain silent against the disarmament resolution, and in particular, given the recent Israeli threats, it would be forced to retreat and concession, but Hezbollah’s secretary -general’s positions were beyond their expectations. On the other hand, the Zionist regime has rejected any commitment to Lebanon in recent weeks and continues to rape Lebanon in the operational field.

Barack had no new word

The source of the al -Akhbar newspaper, pointing out that “Barack had nothing new on the trip” added that Nabi Barry emphasized the need for Israel to withdraw from occupied territories and stop hostile actions before any discussion of disarmament. Barry repeated what he had said to Al -Arabiya the day before meeting with Barack and said to him, “In your recent trip to Beirut, why didn’t you adhere to it to get the job here?”

Barry also asked the US envoy to the Israeli adherence to the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of Lebanese land to international borders, and emphasized that this is a prelude to stability in Lebanon and an opportunity to start rebuilding to return southern residents to their residential areas and to provide support for the Lebanese army.
