The leader of the Ansarullah movement spoke on the occasion of the day of Ashura Hosseini (AS) to thousands of Yemeni people who had gathered in al -Sabin Square in Sanaa to commemorate this day, according to Mehr News Agency.

Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al -Din al -Houthi said in a speech: “The anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) is in fact a tribute to the Prophet (peace be upon him). We celebrate such a day to step in the direction of Imam Hussein (AS) and make them a model.

He added: Imam Hussein was a great ideal of Islam. The Islam that Imam Hussein (AS) followed is an Islam that is the founder of peace, not submission. After the Prophet (PBUH)
