US media reported that five people were wounded on Friday evening by a boat blast in the famous Lanier Lake in Georgia, USA.
According to the CBA News Network, the Hall County Fire and Rescue Department said the cause of the fire was under investigation and the situation is still unclear.
The department added that firefighters received a report on a boat blast at around 7pm on Friday evening, with five people injured due to the fire.
Firefighters explained that four of the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulance and the fifth person were taken to hospitals in the area, and all the injured were stable when moving from the scene, but their health was not accurately confirmed.
Located about 2 miles northeast of Atlanta, the artificial lake Lanier is the largest lake in Georgia with a coastal line of about 2 miles and one of the busiest lakes in southeastern America.
