Ukrainian and US presidents and US President Donald Trump have said that Trump said Washington wants to help Kiev in air defense, according to the Mehr News Agency.

According to one source, Trump has been aware of the recent Russian attack, including air strikes on Ukraine cities as well as advance at the forefront.

The source said: Trump has said he wants to help (Ukraine) in the field of air defense and will also check what (aid) has stopped if military aid is stopped!

The Ukrainian official also said Trump and Zelnski agreed that Ukrainian and American delegations would soon meet with each other to discuss air defense and other weapons.

Zelnsky wrote about calling Trump on the X -Social Network that they agreed to cooperate to strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s sky.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Andrei Yermak described Zelnski and Trump as very important and significant.

The call came a day after a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump. Putin emphasized that Moscow would continue to pursue its goals in the war against Ukraine.

Trump described Putin as very disappointing and said, “I don’t think he (Putin) is looking to stop this war!”

Zelnsky’s contact with Trump came a few days after the Pentagon’s decision to suspend some special aid to Ukraine.
