The US Treasury Department has announced that it has sanctioned seven senior officials and one entity related to one of Lebanese Hezbollah bodies, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The US Treasury Department statement said: The sanctions on the Al -Qur’an al -Hassan Foundation had senior positions of Hezbollah and facilitated circumventing US sanctions.
