Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky and the leaders of several NATO countries on Saturday interviewed US President Donald Trump and insisted that they are ready for a six -day ceasefire from Monday.
According to Rasha Todi, the Ukrainian President wrote on Saturday evening on posts on the X -Social Network: “If Russia refuses to completely and unconditionally, more severe sanctions against the energy sector (oil, shadow fleet, fossil fuels) and the banking system will be imposed.”
“The preparation of the 17th EU sanctions package is underway, which will be coordinated with British, Norway and the United States,” Zelksky said, referring to the EU’s EU sanctions package.
“We have agreed to continue working on the effective use of Russian blocked assets and discuss this issue at the next Group Seven Summit,” he said. “We also agreed to continue to strengthen the defense of Ukraine, especially the country’s army, which includes financing for defense flexibility and investment in weapons production in Ukraine in joint projects and in European countries.”
The Ukrainian president emphasized: “At the end of the meeting, we all spoke with President Trump and agreed on our shared view and subsequent actions. “I thank all those who support the honorable end of this war.”
