NATO’s fear of Iran, China and Russia’s military power
The US ambassador to NATO, referring to Iran, China and Russia, claimed that these countries threaten European allies.
Former US Attorney General Matthew Whitker and current ambassador to the NATO military coalition said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday: “Countries such as Iran, China and Russia are more threatened by European allies.”
“I think European allies as well as Canada realize that they have to take action more than ever before, and in general the current level is not enough because we are faced with a dangerous world,” he said.
The US ambassador to NATO claimed: “Iran, China and Russia are threatening European allies, and the world is in great danger, and we must take the opportunity and make sure our allies are ready for all of these threats during the time when US President Donald Trump is presiding over.”
“I emphasize both NATO and Brussels that we need to increase defense costs, and that amount of budget must be devoted to retaliatory and struggle measures to get rid of all threats,” he said.
Whitker also added that there will be talks and consultations on the NATO summit at the end of June.
