Zelansky: The situation in many areas of Ukraine is difficult

According to RCO News Agency, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcement that Ukrainian President Corsk has completely released that its forces are still fighting in the area.

According to AFP, Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnsky wrote on his telegram channel on Sunday evening: “Our army is still actively defending areas in Korsk and Belgood.”

“However, the situation in many areas is still difficult,” he said.

The Russian president said in a speech on Saturday that Korsk was completely liberated, saying: “Ukraine was completely defeated in the Korsk area. “The liberation of the Corsk area means the failure of Kiev’s gambling.”

On August 7, Ukrainian forces crossing the border into the Russian Korsk area, claiming to seize about 2 square kilometers of Russian territory. Following the operation, Russia declared an emergency and increased the protection of vital facilities such as the Corsk Nuclear Power Plant.

The clashes continued for months, and earlier, the Russian army announced that during the battles the Ukrainian army had lost more than four troops, two tanks, two armored personnel and hundreds and other equipment. Finally, in April, Vladimir Putin announced that all Ukrainian forces had left the Korsk area and that the area is completely under Russian control.

Zelnsky’s remarks came a day after his meetings with Western leaders, including US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Catholic leader of Pope Francis.
