Lavrov: The Russians are polite and, like some, do not detail the negotiations – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnsky’s behavior, which publicizes the details of the war -related negotiations, is out of court, according to Mehr News Agency.
Asked whether Moscow is satisfied with the points mentioned in a possible agreement with Ukraine, Lavrov said: “We (the Russians) are really polite people, and unlike some people, we will never publicly talk about what is being discussed in the negotiations.” Otherwise, negotiations are not considered serious.
“If you want to know someone’s opinion on the content of the negotiations, go to Zelnski,” he said. He loves talking to others through the media, even with US President Donald Trump!
According to him, Moscow, in order to resolve the Ukrainian jet, is making a serious suggestion and thinking about similar suggestions, and at the same time believes that the process should not be discussed in public until it is finalized.
Responding to whether this comment means that the agreement is not close, he emphasized: I did not say that. The negotiations are under way, and until the end of the negotiations, we cannot discuss its content.
