Head of Zelnski Office: We continue talks with Trump’s envoy
The head of the Ukrainian presidential office announced the end of the talks in London, saying the talks between Britain, France, Germany and Ukraine had led to statements and agreements.
According to RCO News Agency, despite the announcement of the London meeting that European and US officials were to talk to the Ukrainian delegation about the country’s crisis, Ukrainian President Andrei Yermak announced the launch and completion of the negotiations in London.
“We have declared our position and insisted that the immediate, complete and unconditional ceasefire should be the first step to start negotiations aimed at achieving fair and lasting peace,” the head of the Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky’s office said.
“We expressed hope that it would be in line with the positions of President Donald Trump,” Yermak wrote.
“Under any circumstances, Ukraine will remain on its basic principles during the negotiations because these are the basis of our sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he said.
The head of the Zelnski office also said: The Ukrainian delegation attended the meeting in addition to myself, Foreign Minister Andrey Sibi and Defense Minister Rostam Omorov. Also, Jonathan Powell, British Prime Minister National Security Adviser, French President Emmanuel Bon, German Foreign Policy Adviser Jens Platten, and Ukrainian President Kate Clag were present in Ukraine.
Yermak also said that participants in the consultations emphasized their commitment to Donald Trump’s efforts to peacefully resolve the Ukrainian war.
“The parties, as well as the Ukrainian side, agreed to continue these talks with the collar in the future,” he said.
