Gross request from Iraqchi to travel to Iran
The Iranian Foreign Minister, in agreement with the request of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency to travel to Tehran, stated that the institution “should take a clear position on threats against Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities”.
According to RCO News Agency, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, spoke on Tuesday in a phone call with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi on the latest state of cooperation between Iran and the Agency.
In this interview, the Iranian Foreign Minister put the IAEA’s Director General in the latest developments and diplomatic consultations on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Referring to Iran’s policy of engaging and cooperating with the IAEA, Iraqchi stated that the International Atomic Energy Agency should take a clear stance on threats against the peaceful nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He emphasized that given the continuation of these threats, the Islamic Republic of Iran will take any necessary measures to safeguard its nuclear program.
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency also said that he would consult with other parties to create the right space to help solve existing problems.
In this context, he made a request to travel to Iran, which was approved by the Iranian Foreign Minister.
