Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky, pointing out that the US is constantly changing the provisions of the rare minerals agreement with Kiev, said there is currently no matter on the agenda to guarantee and justify his trip to Washington.

Zelnsky regretted the lack of a final agreement on rare minerals with the United States after a meeting with European leaders at the France’s “Coalition” summit in France.

“In the end, they (Americans) constantly change the provisions,” he said. I’m not going to go to Washington because there is no matter on the agenda.

“We have a lot of agreements about minerals, and I would like to deal with this, not to look at it from the theoretical point of view,” Zlansky said, noting that numerous drafts and frameworks have been discussed.

He noted that the Ukrainian and American teams are currently working on the final version of the agreement, adding: “The US proposes a complete agreement, but this requires careful and comprehensive examination and serious agreements to be taken to parliament.”
