New York Times: Trump ordered the attack on Yemen
Following media reports on US air strikes on parts of Yemen, the US magazine reported that the US president had ordered the attacks.
According to RCO News Agency, moments ago media sources reported widespread air strikes on Yemen.
In the same vein, the American Journal of the New York Times quoted four US officials as saying that the attack is “in line with a new wave of Yemeni attacks.”
US President Donald Trump has ordered maritime and air strikes on “Yemeni radars, aerial defenses and missile and drone structures,” according to the American magazine.
According to the New York Times, despite US President Joe Biden’s defeat in his attacks on Yemen, Trump has also launched new attacks against Yemen in support of the Zionist regime.
US officials told the magazine that US attacks on Yemen could take several days, and the “extent of attacks on the possible reaction” depends on the Yemeni armed forces.
The New York Times further acknowledged that US intelligence and security structures have failed to identify Yemen’s arms structures.
US officials also told the magazine that some national security assistants and Trump advisers want to pursue a more off -the -clock campaign that would basically lose control of large parts of northern Yemen. “But Trump has not yet confirmed the strategy because he had pledged to avoid involvement in the Middle East during his campaign.”
According to the New York Times, “Trump has recently been targeted by a F -5 fighter by Yemeni missiles.” On the other hand, the US magazine, referring to the readiness of Yemen’s Ansarullah to resume its operations against the Zionist regime in the event of a violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, has identified another US aggressive attack on Yemen.
The US publications quoted US officials as saying that attacks were Saturday after Trump’s summit with Foreign Minister JD Venus, White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, US Defense Minister Pete Hegst, and US Chief of State Mike Corilla.
US officials also said the attacks were carried out by Harry SS Truman aircraft fighters, now in the north of the Red Sea, as well as by offensive aircraft and armed drones launched from the bases.
US defeat against Yemen
“But US -led attacks have failed to prevent the Yemeni armed forces from attacking the Suez Canal, which are critical to the World Trade,” the New York Times said. Hundreds of ships have been forced to deviate long in South Africa that have raised costs. “Despite the ceasefire in Gaza, some of the largest container shipping lines are away from the Red Sea.”
“The Biden Government tried to destroy Ansarullah Yemen’s ability to threaten commercial ships and military ships without killing a large number of fighters and commanders, but it is unclear how a bombing campaign against Yemen would have been successful,” the US magazine added.
Referring to the eight -year war against Yemen, the New York Times said: “Ansarullah, whose military capabilities have increased with more than eight years of war on Saudi -led coalition, have happily welcomed the prospect of war with the United States.”
