Western media: Dorov left France
Informed sources told French media that Paul Dorov, the founder of the telegram messenger, was allowed to leave France after his case was arrested for charges in France.
According to RCO News Agency, an informed source said Paul Dorov, the founder of the telegram social network, who was arrested on a trip to France and faced numerous charges related to organized crime, was allowed to leave the European country.
The source told AFP: “He left France this morning under the authorization of the country’s authorities.”
According to another source, an investigation judge has allowed him to leave France for a few weeks.
The third source also said Dorov has left for Dubai.
A telegram spokesman refused to comment and said that the telegram would later issue a statement.
A source close to the Dorov case in France said that the investigator has accepted him to change his supervision over the past few days.
Dorov, now 5 years old, was arrested in August at the Lu Borge Airport in the outskirts of Paris for numerous allegations of messaging he had established. He was banned from leaving France.
After several days of inspection, Dorov was accused of not controlling extremist and terrorist content and released on bail for five million euros.
Dorov, who has a Russian, French, and Emirate passport, had initially criticized his arrest, but since then, he has taken steps that appear to have agreed to Paris’s demands.
According to an informed source, he had told the Court of Procedure in January that “he realized the seriousness of all these charges.”
