Yerevan: A peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is ready to sign
Baku and Yerevan announced the end of the negotiations on the text of the Peace Agreement.
According to RCO News Agency, Foreign Minister Jihon Bayramov announced Thursday evening that negotiations on the text of the Azerbaijani -Armenian Peace Agreement have been completed.
According to Apa News Agency, Bayramov said that Armenia has previously informed the Republic of Azerbaijan of the remaining four articles and that work on the text has been completed, saying: “In the next phase, Armenia should remove land claims against Azerbaijan in its constitution and the remains of the Minsk group should be eliminated.”
The draft of the Peace Agreement between Baku and Yerevan consists of four articles. The parties have so far agreed to the two -story of the draft of the agreement.
One of the remaining cases was the avoidance of international claims against each other and the other was the lack of representatives of other countries on the Azerbaijani -Armenian border.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia also issued a statement announcing that the ministry has issued a diplomatic channel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan that the Republic of Armenia has issued the proposals of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the underlying articles of the “Planning Agreement and Inter -State Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Armenia.”
A statement from the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia said the ministry approves an agreement on the draft agreement and the completion of the negotiations.
According to the ministry’s statement, the peace agreement is ready to sign.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry stated that the country is ready to start consultations with the Republic of Azerbaijan on the date and place of signing the agreement.
