US media reported a phone call for John Retcliffe, director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) with the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Narcishkin.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters that the United States would explain Wednesday about negotiations with Ukrainians and a ceasefire offer to Russia. He added that if Moscow responds negatively, this opposition would be meaningful to the United States.

The CIA has not yet commented on this.
After Kiev supported the ceasefire proposal, the Trump administration resumed weapons and intelligence cooperation with Ukraine. Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnsky today announced that he plans to use the six -day ceasefire to formulate a peace agreement.
