Ulyanov: The US must return to the negotiating table with Iran
The permanent representative of Russia in international organizations warned the US government that if there was no transparent negotiations with Iran, there would be an uncontrolled exacerbation of tensions.
According to RCO News Agency, Russia’s permanent representative Mikhail Olianov in international organizations in Vienna on Monday, referring to the possibility of applying the “trigger” mechanism against Iran and the withdrawal of Tehran from the ban on nuclear weapons expansion, advised the United States to spend more transparency and return to the negotiating table.
Speaking at a meeting at the Walda Dialogue Club, Ulyanov said that “we will probably see developments and crises about Iran in the year,” said Olianov said on October 5 (October 5) the UN Security Council’s implementation period and resolution.
The senior Russian diplomat also said there is a comprehensive report that assesses the current and former issues within the framework of Iran’s nuclear program, and the “European Troika” and the United States need it to accuse Iran of failing to adhere to the International IAEA.
“In addition, the four countries (France, Germany, Britain and the United States) are seriously investigating the implementation of the” Snapbec “mechanism, which means automatically restoring all UN sanctions against Iran,” Ulyanov said.
He pointed out that Iran has warned that if such a move, it would withdraw from the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, saying: “It is necessary for the United States to express its position more clearly and return to the negotiating table. “In that case, at least on paper there will be an opportunity to get a solution.”
The Russian official went on to say that if there is no dialogue, Moscow is concerned that we will face a serious crisis, because there is a possibility of unnecessary exacerbation of tensions at any given moment.
