A British tanker and a cargo ship in the North Sea collided on Monday, according to the Mehr News Agency.
According to the media, the British Coast Guard said it was coordinating response to reports of a tanker collision with a cargo ship on the East Yorkshire coast.
The alarm was sounded at 9:50 am local time (1:50 am East).
The British Government Maritime and Coast Guard also said in a statement that the Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to respond to rescue boats from various areas, including Sickens, Bridlington, Mapletorp and Clethorps.
